Kat Von D Everlasting Flash-Saint Set

Hello friends!! Today I’m pretty excited because I was able to snap up one of the Kat Von D Everlasting lip kits in Saint. It was part of the Sephora Everlasting Flash collection that is only available for 48 hours. Supposedly, this will never be released again but I don’t really believe that.

I was drawn to this set because it looked a lot more cool toned pink than my prior purchased Lolita. That ended up being WAY too warm for me. Anyway this set was available for purchase on Sephora’s website for $38USD, here is the description:

What it is:
A duo with the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick and matching Lip Liner in an exclusive 48-hour only shade, Saint—plus, deluxe-sizes of the Saint + Sinner perfumes.

What it does:
In honor of her most highly anticipated launch of all time, Kat Von D created this super-limited Everlasting Liquid Lipstick and Lip Liner shade to celebrate her sweet and dreamy fragrance, Saint. Created just for the launch of Saint + Sinner fragrances, this peachy rose shade perfectly captures the romantic essence of Saint—and you can only get it with Everlasting Flash.

This is a beautiful powdery rosy pink shade. As with all of the everlasting lips it does dry down matte to a really pretty finish. This color does need layered more than the darker Lolita. I really can’t decide if this has more blue to it or more peach so I’m just going to call it a nice dusty pink neutral shade The texture is sort of watery but creamy at the same time and it remains comfortable throughout the day. These really do last a long looooong time on your lips and while they aren’t 100% kiss proof, they are close. The matching lipliner is the same as the others nothing special to mention. I don’t think these colors are hard to find and there are surely a lot of dupes, but that is for another post another day. Saint is a beautiful color to add to my collection. On me, it won’t work for every day use as it is a little bit “loud” for work but for going out, it’ll do nicely!

This set also came with samples of Saint and Sin fragrance. Sin smells very spicy, if you’ve ever smelled Kate Walsh’s Boyfriend, it smells almost exactly like that. Saint is sort of a fruity floral, neither are anything special to write home about.

Overall, while I think the lipset is dupable, it was also a really great value for the price and is a really truly beautiful color. If you can pick it up at the same or similar price definitely get it! If you can’t find it, don’t pay a premium for it. I’ll work on a dupe.  I give it an A-

As a side note I want to add that I really appreciate KVD products because they do not test on animals. That is extremely important to me, and I have been buying more of this brand for that reason. They are outspoken about it, and I like that.

    1. They last about 6 hours on me. I like the longevity of them. Maybe try another shade? There are tons to choose from 🙂 they are a bit drying on me though so I use balm. good luck!
