Equipped with anti-microbial and nonporous bristles, it is easy to clean and ensures minimal formula absorption into your brush head.

Compatible with all Clarisonic face brushes – Mia 1, Mia 2, Mia FIT, and Smart Profile – the Sonic Foundation Brush Head completely transforms your device from sonic cleanser to makeup applicator.

I saw this months ago watching this video from Tati Westbrook:

Basically, she loved the brush, and I thought to myself..maybe I’ll love it too. After doing lots of research and waiting many more months I finally bought it because I already have a Clarisonic, and my brush head needed replaced…So I found this bundle at Ulta that offers both the foundation brush AND the cleansing brush head that I needed anyway, plus I was able to use a 20% off coupon for it..son win win, I basically got the cleansing brush head for free.

Okay, so basically it’s supposed to apply your foundation super quickly and deliver an airbrushed look. My first thoughts were that the bristles do not look dense like my Morphe Y6 brush, so I was unsure how this was going to work coverage wise.

I took my foundation (I mix two colors) and dabbed it all over my face, then turned on my brush, it does feel just like when you clean your face with it only not scrubby, and I’ll tell you the first time I used it, I did have a few bristles fall out, so that was super disappointing. Below you’ll see a before and after, with the Clarisonic being the application method.

Now, it does look okay…but basically it looks like it does every other day. It DOES look better than when I use a flat foundation brush, but doesn’t honestly look any better or worse than when I use my Y6. (which by comparison is significantly cheaper, I think I paid around 12 bucks for that!)…Sorry about the lines in the photo, they are from my vanity and my current camera doesn’t know how to deal! As you can see it does provide good coverage. I didn’t notice using any less foundation though. I did have some dry patches using this, but that’s probably just my crappy skin and not the brushes fault. Mainly I was disappointed that the bristles fell out because I felt the brush did a fine enough job.

Honestly, unless you positively want this, then I don’t think you need it. If you do want it, I don’t think you’ll hate it and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed unless you already own a nice stippling brush. By the way the cleansing brush is very nice. I’ve been using it for a couple of years and really like it.
